Education

Anna studied Law at Queen Mary, University of London attaining a 2:1 (Hons). Whilst studying, she was the winner of the George Hinde Mooting Competition judged by the Rt Hon Sir Stanley Burnton, a former Lord Justice of Appeal.

Anna completed her LPC at Bournemouth University. Since qualifying, Anna has continued her education and achieved a Certificate in Understanding Autism (Level 2) in 2023.

Career

Anna has worked in a variety of different roles during her career. Before qualifying as a solicitor, Anna was a senior consultant in legal recruitment and a voluntary advisor with Citizens Advice.

Anna started her legal career at a full service law firm with offices in Dorset and Wiltshire. Anna was a legal assistant in the company commercial department, then completed training seats in the commercial and agricultural department, private client department, and family department.

Upon qualification, Anna moved to Cambridge to work for a well regarded local firm. She then gained experience working for a specialist family law firm with a national reach, and most recently worked for a regional law firm where she was promoted to associate in the family department.

Anna is secretary for the Cambridge & West Suffolk branch of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way.

Accolades

Anna was recognised as a recommended lawyer in the 2024 edition of the Legal 500, being described as ‘an excellent solicitor for children cases’, giving legal advice which is ‘thorough and clearly explained’. Anna was also a recommended lawyer in the 2023 edition of the Legal 500: ‘it’s the attention to detail that really sets Anna apart from other Solicitors that we have worked with. Personal

Anna grew up in Dorset but moved to Cambridge to continue her career in family law. Anna spends her free time enjoying live music and comedy, and returning to the coast when she can. She is a keen traveller and has visited Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, the USA and several countries in Europe.
