Imogen Fallon

Assistant Solicitor

Imogen assists our Partner and Head of Children at Vardags, Caroline Korah, in a whole spectrum of legal cases pertaining to children matters (private and international children). She has experience in helping parents reach arrangements for their children following separation, international relocation of children and international child abduction (under the Hague Conventions of 1980 and 1996), international contact disputes, disputes pertaining to choice of school, cases involving serious allegation of abuse including coercive controlling behaviour and alienating behaviours. She has also been involved in cases involving vulnerable clients and injunctions (non-molestation orders) under the Family Law Act 1996.

Education and Career

Imogen read History at UCL with a Year Abroad at the University of Pennsylvania, obtaining a First Class Honours. Imogen then went on to obtain a Masters in History at Keble College, University of Oxford, and later completed the GDL and the LPC at Westminster Law School, where she was awarded Distinctions.

Prior to joining Vardags, Imogen served as a Client Advisor at the Legal Advice Clinic (Westminster Law School), advising clients on family, housing, employment and immigration matters. She has also completed a number of internships - one for a regulatory technology start-up, and another for a South African based law firm, where she worked with the Legal Aid Board and shadowed the Director of Public Prosecutions in cases involving child abuse.

Imogen joined Vardags on the Graduate Training Programme, before qualifying as a Solicitor in September 2024.

  • Arnold, Bryce, and Read Fund History Faculty Award
  • Rothermere American Institute Award for archival research at Columbia Law School, Smith College and the Library of Congress
  • Santander Travel Award

Personal

Imogen was born in South Africa and educated in Britain and America. She has travelled widely and volunteered in Kenya and Cambodia. She is also a keen horse rider, enjoying her treks in South Africa and Thailand, and while at UCL rode for their equestrian team.
