Nicola is a Partner at Vardags specialising in family law. Nicola has specialised in family law exclusively over the last 13 years, dealing with a mixed case load of financial remedy and private children. She has been involved in a range of financial cases and also undertakes private children work. Nicola has represented both victims of domestic abuse and those facing accusations.

Education and Career
Nicola completed her degree in Law at the University of Manchester and completed the LPC at the College of Law in Chester with a commendation.
Before working at Vardags, Nicola qualified as a solicitor in 2009. After moving firms, she was appointed associate and head of the care department in 2015 and shortly after became a partner. Looking for a fresh challenge, she returned to private family in 2020.
Personal
Nicola has always lived in the North West having grown up in Preston, studying in Manchester and now living in Chester. She enjoys all things outdoors including walking, camping, caravanning and paddleboarding.
She was involved in a community action group saving her local pub. The committee she sat on successfully registered an Asset of Community Value and opposed a planning application and subsequent appeal.
